Aura Points Calculator: Score Your Week (No App Needed)
Most aura points calculators online just spit out a random number. This one doesn't. Below is an aura points calculator you can do in your head or on your notes app: add up the points you gained and lost over the last 7 days using real behaviors, then check what your total says about your aura level.
It takes about five minutes and zero downloads.
If your score comes out low and you want to know why, not just how much, Aura's quiz pinpoints the habit behind it: Find my aura leak.
How an aura points calculator works
Quick refresher on the aura points meaning in slang: "aura" is your presence, how calm, cool and confident you come across. "Aura points" are a joke score people hand out in comments and group chats. Smooth moment? "+1000 aura." Tripped up the stairs? "-500 aura."
The aura points meme has no official scale. So we made a simple aura points system based on things people actually notice about each other:
- Entrances (how you walk into rooms)
- Eye contact
- Your look (what you wear, whether it says anything)
- Your voice (do people hear you?)
- Body language
- Recovery (how you handle awkward moments and how drained you are after)
Each move is worth a fixed number of points. Big public moments are worth more than small private ones, and the way you react after a mistake counts nearly as much as the mistake itself.
Aura points in a sentence
Just so we're on the same page:
- "Stayed calm when the teacher called on him with no warning. +200 aura."
- "Said 'you too' when the barista said 'enjoy.' -50 aura."
- "Wore the same fit to her cousin's graduation as the cousin. -300, but she owned it. +300. Net zero."
Aura points table: moves that gain aura
Scroll through and count how many times you did each one in the last 7 days.
| Move | Points each time |
|---|---|
| Walked into a room with your phone away and your head up | +20 |
| Held eye contact for a few seconds while someone talked to you | +15 |
| Wore something on purpose that people noticed or complimented | +30 |
| Answered a question in class, a seminar or a meeting clearly, no trailing off | +40 |
| Said "I disagree" (politely) and explained why | +60 |
| Stayed calm when something went wrong in public | +80 |
| Laughed off a mistake in one line and moved on | +100 |
| Started a conversation with someone new | +50 |
| Took a compliment with just "thank you" | +25 |
| Gave a presentation or speech without reading it word for word | +150 |
| Didn't reply to drama in the group chat when you wanted to | +40 |
| Stood or sat still in a waiting moment instead of fidgeting | +10 |
Aura points table: moves that lose aura
Now the painful half. How to lose aura points, sorted from small to big:
| Move | Points each time |
|---|---|
| Said "sorry" when you didn't do anything wrong | -10 |
| Eyes dropped to the floor as soon as someone looked at you | -15 |
| Had to repeat yourself because nobody heard you | -20 |
| Hovered at the door not knowing where to sit | -25 |
| Checked your phone to avoid talking to someone | -20 |
| Over-explained a tiny mistake | -40 |
| Laughed way too hard at your own joke | -30 |
| Got visibly heated over a small roast | -100 |
| Posted, deleted, reposted | -60 |
| Replayed an awkward moment out loud to your friends more than twice | -50 |
| Tried to aura farm and everyone could tell | -150 |
| Big public fumble you didn't recover from | -200 |
Notice the pattern? Most losses aren't dramatic. They're tiny shrink moves: apologizing, looking away, trailing off. They add up quietly.
Score your last 7 days
Here's your free aura points calculator, step by step.
- Open your notes app. Write "+" on one line and "-" on another.
- Go through the gain table. For each move, write how many times you did it this week, multiplied by the points.
- Go through the loss table. Same thing.
- Add each side up.
- Subtract the losses from the gains. That's your weekly aura score.
Example week (a Year 12 / grade 11 student)
- Walked in with phone away: 4 times → +80
- Answered in class clearly: 2 times → +80
- Laughed off a mistake: 1 → +100
- Said sorry for nothing: 6 times → -60
- Had to repeat myself: 3 times → -60
- Hovered at the door: 2 → -50
- Replayed an awkward moment: 2 → -100
Total: +260 gained, -270 lost, so -10 for the week.
Not bad, not great. And look where the losses came from: small daily leaks, not one big disaster.
What your total means
Here's what your score says about your aura level. The tiers are ours and just for fun.
| Weekly score | Aura level | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Below -300 | In the red | You're probably in aura debt. Stop the small leaks first. |
| -300 to 0 | Leaking | You're doing some good stuff, but small habits are cancelling it out. |
| 0 to +300 | Steady | Solid. People probably see you as calm and fine. |
| +300 to +700 | Noticed | You come across as confident and intentional. |
| +700 and up | Main character | You're stacking wins. Keep it low-key so it doesn't tip into try-hard. |
Two honest caveats:
- This is a rough guide, not science. The point values are made up to be useful, like every aura points chart online.
- You're a biased scorer. Most people remember their fails way more than their wins. If anything, you probably under-counted your gains.
That second point is the real problem with scoring yourself. You're doing this from memory, a week later, and memory is a terrible judge.
Aura fixes the memory problem. You get a plan of 14 moves, one small thing a day, and a one-tap check-in each night, so your streak and history do the tracking instead of your worst memories. It starts with a 16-question quiz that gives you your aura tier. Find my aura leak
How to raise your score this week
Want to gain aura points fast? Don't try to hit the +150 moves right away. Cut your losses first, because they're happening every day.
Day 1-2: Stop the small leaks
- Count your "sorrys." Replace half with "excuse me" or nothing.
- Every time you catch your eyes dropping, bring them back up for a beat.
Day 3-4: Add easy gains
- Walk into every room this week with your phone in your pocket.
- Wear one thing on purpose each day.
Day 5-7: Take one bigger swing
- Answer one question in class or a meeting, clearly, all the way to the end of the sentence.
- Start one conversation with someone you don't usually talk to.
Then run the calculator again next week. If your aura score goes up even 100 points, that's real progress, and more importantly, it's habits, not luck.

Get your real aura tier in two minutes
A weekly count tells you how much aura you're gaining or losing. Aura's 16-question quiz tells you where it leaks: shrinking when you walk in, slipping eye contact, a look that says nothing, a voice that gets lost, body language or burnout after. You get an aura tier and a 14-move plan built around your weakest spot.
